1. Lac Rose: a pink and reddish colored body of water colored by salina algae. 

2. Parc des Oiseaux: a zoological park with a lake and birds. 

3. Les îles du Saloum: a small island that is very pretty and saturated with trees. 

4. Le réserve de Fathala: a wildlife reserve, also a safari attraction with many kinds of native animals.

5. La cascade de Dindéfélo: a park famous for its forests and falls.

L'ile de Gorée is a very small island off the coast of Dakar, with only 69 acres. It is car free and is known for its Atlantic slave trade in the 15th to 19th century. There are a few museums in L'ile de Gorée, including the House of Slaves Museum, the IFAN Historical Museum, and the Henriette Bathily Women's Museum.
