Question 1

Three places I recognize:

1. La tour Eiffel
2. Notre Dame
3. L'île de France

Three new places:

1. Le Parc Asterix
2. Le Centre Pompidou
3. Le chapelle royale

Question 2

Four places I would like to see:

1.  La galerie des Glaces.  I want to go to this place because it is a 73-meter room, decorated with mirrors, is the main attraction which is magnificent.   
2. La tour Eiffel.  This is the main attraction of going to France because this Parisian Monument was the tallest in the world and was built in 1889.  It was named after an engineer named Gustave Eiffel whose company designed and built the tower.  I would want to see it in the night because it is beautiful to see and glistens with colors. 
3. Le Parc Asterix.  This is a good amusement park because it is based on the comic book Asterix.  I feel this is fun amusement park where my family will have a great time.  Also, Parc Asterix is the second biggest theme park near Paris after disneyland.
4. Le musée du Louvre.  The Louvre Museum has a glass pyramid with an underground entrance.  It's also known as one of the largest art museums and historic monuments in Paris.

Three dishes I would like to eat:

1. Pâtisseries
2. Flammekueche
3. Ratatouille

Two Activities I would like to do:

1. Fountainbleau
2. Bowling Mouffetard

One historical person I want to learn about:

1. I want to learn about La Bataille de la Marne because it was an interesting battle.  French soldiers were transported to a battlefield outside Paris using a fleet of 600 taxi cabs. 

One event I would like to go to:

1.  I would see Bastille day because it is where France celebrates their independence.  It has firework with the wonderful La tour Eiffel.  People take the day off, spend it with family,  friends, eat, celebrate, and watch fireworks at night.
